VEDES WINS SECOND WPT CROWN
As the poker world was turning its attention to events in Monaco and the €100,000 Super High Roller at the PokerStars Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final, back in the United States Tommy Vedes was being crowned the latest World Poker Tour champion, beating John Dolan, a former November-Niner, heads-up on his way to a first prize of $779,520 at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown $10,000 main event.
As runner-up Dolan collected 459,360 ahead of Serock, Craig Bergeron in fourth, Sharon Levin in fifth and Kyle Bowker in sixth. For more details about the event and the World Poker Tour, go to the WPT website.
