MONACO WELCOMES THE EPT GRAND FINAL
After 11 events across Europe and a stop in the Bahamas, the eighth season of the European Poker Tour concludes this week on the Riviera, where the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final takes place, crowning the Grand Final winner next Monday.
The weeklong festival began yesterday with the start of the €100,000 buy-in Super High Roller event, which boasted at least 30 players, while the season concludes with the Champion of Champions event on 1 May.
In between that is the €10,000 buy-in main event, the prestige event of the tour which attracts players from around the glove. Last year Ivan Freitez proved the surprise winner, collecting a first prize of €1,500,000. This year’s champion will collect a similar figure when crowned after the final table early next week.
